Raj Goodman Anand began his PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Sussex in 2005, two decades before most people started paying attention. He is Founder & CEO of AI-First Mindset®, an AI education and advisory company that has delivered 200+ hands-on AI workshops for organisations, governments and enterprise teams worldwide, with a particular focus on manufacturing and industrial businesses. He is a personal investor in OpenAI, Anthropic and xAI, and also founded Goodman Lantern, an international B2B content marketing agency where over 80% of the team are women. He was named one of BusinessWeek's Young Entrepreneurs of the Year in 2007 and appeared in Revolution magazine's Digital Future 50 alongside the founding teams of Twitter and Spotify.
